Good evening everyone or whenever you may be reading this :D, It has been quite a hot second since have blogged! So update on my pageant life, I might (BIG MIGHT) be competing for Miss Crosby-Ironton for the third time!! So why am I even telling you this if it's only a might? Well I am so excited thinking back to when I did compete and they are the best pageant memories I have! I enjoyed other pageants I've been in but Miss C-I is where it all started! This is where my heart is. I wanted to share this since I have in deep with nostalgia thinking back and just wanted to talk about it with you. This all depends on if they will allow me to compete. I am four years older than what they say is the max age to compete. Now I understand if they won't allow me to compete but in case they need one more girl to compete I put my name in the hat. You never know what God has in store. I have been feeling the need to get back out there and compete again so for me Miss C-I is where...

I truly think if you have dreams, please challenge yourself and not settle! I believe that is what I have been doing with pageants. No matter who or what brings me back in, at the end of another pageant I feel these same feelings. It's just not where God has me going in life. Let me paint you a picture of how it happened. It is the end of the pageant, it went by pretty quick and throughout the whole evening I felt off. I didn't feel as confident like I normally do with pageants. I tried my best as I possibly could. They handed out overall (throughout the 3 titles) individual awards. One miss contestant got two the other got one. There were three of us Miss Contestants. As we went up for the title I knew I wasn't gonna get it. The runner up was announced...not me. The title holder....not me. Shocker? No not at all! Good Afternoon my amazing blog readers, I am so excited to be back with you! I've had some realizations while I haven't been blogging and haven't been competing. It's been a year since I last competed. During this year, I thought that my pageant life was over and I was no longer a pageant girl. In my own way, I am still a pageant girl! There is a difference to what a stereotypical pageant girl is and being your own type. I thought I was a stereotypical one at first, just following the crowd and blending in to the pageant flow. I realized I am way different than that. I may be going a little deep into it lol but I am my own type of a pageant girl. I love getting up on stage and chasing after a childhood dream. I love being able to make a difference on many levels. Also the opportunities that come along with pageantry are pretty amazing. I also was TERRIFIED I was going to change into someone I didn't like. GOOD EVENING YALL, I am so excited to say there is only 3 weeks until Miss Brainerd Lakes! Honestly I am so excited to make the best memories and have the best time! No matter what happens, I have a feeling something GREAT is gonna happen! Today I had the best time at the Bridal Expo at the Brainerd Curling Center! I got to meet new gals and see fantastic old friends! I cannot wait to see who else is competing this year! But um...today when I was modeling I tripped a few times...the dress was a bit long even with my heels! Lets just hope that doesn't happen on-stage when it matters! it was still SO MUCH FUN TODAY! HEY YALL!! It is so close until the up-in-coming Miss Brainerd Lakes pageant! I am super excited! God has prepared me in multiple ways for anything He has planned! I have given it all up to Him!! I am doing my best this time around not to focus so much on what anyone else is doing rather focus on what God has placed in front of me. I seem to fall into this trap of thinking someone else is WAY better than me & I have NO CHANCE in achieving the title. Those thoughts need to be thrown out the window! I have always thought those kind of things when a pageant came about! I try to stop the thoughts but it seemed it just always happened! THIS YEAR is gonna be different. I'm changing my thought process & my whole outlook. I can't wait to make new friends, memories & continue to grow. Hey Y'all!! So it's been a while haha. Well let me let ya what has been going on pageant wise in my life. So I have been planing on which pageants I was going to compete in this year, of course in the MAO (Miss America Organization). At first I was going to compete for the title of Miss Midwest but it is actually a little too far for me to travel to. And just randomly speaking, if I were to get the title I felt it wouldn't be fair if I couldn't completely commit to serving out the job. So I will not be competing for Miss Midwest but the next closest one would be Miss Coon Rapids. :) With Miss Coon Rapids, it is much a little closer for travel comfort and it's close to my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, & niece. Also it's a close place to an awesome shopping center! I cannot wait to see where God takes me in pageants this year. Hello everyone! So I really haven't blogged in a while. Here is the run down of how everything went at the Miss Brainerd Lakes/Central Lakes Pageant. My interview was awesome & I was able to do my Cindy Lou Who impression! Too Cool! I did my best onstage & rocked talent! Didn't drop my baton at all! I made some awesome friends as well and was reunited with old ones! Then comes time for crowning.... The Miss BL contestants were last. First they announced the Spirit Award winners for Teen and Miss. The teen 'Miss Congeniality' was my buddy, Mariah!! She also got first runner up for the Miss Central Lakes OT! For the miss....ME!! I received the 'Miss Congeniality' for the Miss! I honestly was taken by surprise. I never had my name called out during crowning for any award well only once but at a weird moment. It was at the Miss CI Pageant 2012 and it was the Life Achievement award; it really wasn't much. It was never given out before & never given ...

Hello all of my blog readers, Wow ok so let me say the Miss Brainerd Lakes Pageant is THIS WEEKEND, October 18th!! I have so many emotions I just don't even know where to begin lol. First off, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me and sending me well wishes! Every single one of you mean so much you don't even know! THANK YOU!! So moving on, I have been practicing non-stop for the past about 5-6 months for this pageant (whoa) for talent, walk, & interview. HEY!!! Who is excited for a pageant next month....THIS GIRLLLLL! Only one more month until Miss Brainerd Lakes 2014...wow it is so insane. Reason I say this is because I have been practicing most/all of the summer and now it is finally on the way. I'm always practicing talent, interview skills, and walking. Also since I mentioned walking...I bought these new heels and my 'lanta it is such a difference from my old ones! My old ones were plastic across the foot and ankle. They were always hurting my feet when it came to the crowning part of the evening. But now I got a sort of knock off of Johnathan Kayne heels and yes baby my feet are happy happy happy! :) Also I did some research about my favorite duck family, The Robertsons! HELLO everyone! :D It has been a while since I have spoken to you it seems! Well let me update you a bit of course on what is going on pageant wise in my life. So I have been doing my best to get pageant swimsuit ready!! I feel I am the best I can be health/fit wise right now! I don't want to over work myself and get too crazy so I am doing things at a slow to moderate pace. I am perfecting my talent & adding new tricks! I do not think I told y'all this but I figured why not tell you now because you will find out anyways! I will be doing a baton twirling routine to the song Dark Horse by Katy Perry for my talent! I cannot wait to perform it. I am always practicing & making sure I remember it all lol. But it should go smooth. Hello everyone! So quite a bit has happened since I talked to you last! First, CONGRATS to my buddy Savannah Cole who was crowned Miss Minnesota 2014!! I am seriously so proud of her. But I am, of course, so proud of all my buddies who competed for the title. Love y'all! I hope to be in your shoes next summer as I go for the title of Miss Brainerd Lakes 2014 on October 18th! Hello everyone sorry I haven't updated in about 2 months! Since then I haven't had too many thoughts about the pageant and had other thoughts. I actually thought about moving and not just in another town...in ANOTHER STATE! TO CALIFORNIA! But since I seriously do not have the money to do this crazy adventure I'm here in MN! There isn't much to update on since pageant ventures haven't started yet. But I will tell you a couple things! 1) I will be raising money for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) during the summer by holding a game during my hometown's music in the park & mountain bike festival. Sad things is I was asked to do the mountain bike festival. You may be thinking, "Wait isn't that a good thing?" Why yes it is but the Miss Minnesota Pageant is the same day... June 14. Hello there! Aw man I seriously have a feeling God is beautifully putting everything into place for a reason! As I am preparing for Miss Brainerd Lakes 2014, my talent is coming together naturally & amazing! Working on my interview questions...going great! Need to work on my walk though, a bit wobbly & stubbly!  I have plenty of time to work on those things. I also am working out, literally. Doing my best to tone up rather than lose weight. It is pretty tough when you have chocolate & potato chips taunting you. Hello! So this morning I came to the realization of my purpose in pageants. In every pageant I would pray before each competition & still do. Yet I never put into perspective that I had a purpose to be there. An open door as it says in Revelation. I know your deeds. Behold, I have set before you an open door that no one is able to shut—because you have little power, but you have kept My word and have not denied My name. (Revelation 3:8) I know God will continue to provide if I am doing His will. I am not going to give up! There is a reason why God put passions, dreams, & goals in our hearts!  I trust in God and I know I will walk through fire and be prosecuted for my faith, but I will never stop believing nor stop serving God. He is my everything. I take Him seriously because He took me seriously when He took up the cross for me.  So God, this is for You! I love you & I will not stop doing pageants until you tell me to! Hello everyone!! Well it's almost has been a year since I have written a blog on here. So I have some very exciting news. Since I competed at Miss Minnesota International 2014, I first decided not to compete in pageants anymore. I was worried that God wouldn't get the glory if I continued to compete. He is why I would compete. Also I felt like I couln't be me, like I had to wear a mask. But just recently I decided to get back in. I will be competing in Miss Brainerd Lakes in August of this year. I feel very excited to get back in and try a new pageant in a system that I love. I already have set up a volunteer opprotunity/fundraiser in the summer to raise money for the Children's Mircle Network in order for me to compete & also for the organization tied to my platform, Operation Smile. Okay are you ready!! So as I was looking through the mail I seen the envelope of Miss Minnesota International Pageant! I start screaming at the top of my lungs and I am kind of losing my voice so it kinda sounded like a squeal lol. I open it up all frantic like and it said................................................................................................................................................................................................................................I WAS SELECTED TO BE MISS CROW WING COUNTY INTERNATIONAL 2014!!!! Hey guys! I am so excited that the next two weeks are filled with pageant events! The first one is this Saturday, April 13, and it is the Crosby-Ironton Prom Grand March! Bailey, Miss CI 2012, and I will be there handing out paperwork for contestants and answering any questions! The next one is the Living Local Expo at the Hallett Center in Crosby on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20. I will be there at the Miss CI Booth handing out paperwork and answering questions! I am not sure if you guys are excited to hear if I got this Miss Crow Wing County International 2014 title as much as me but I am going crazy lol!! It has been super hard to focus on school and other things!! I have been praying and praying that God will help those who select the girls to represent their county to see my heart like He does!! Hey guys! I feel very successful at the moment because I am at home on the treadmill and typing this blog lol! Anyways, I am so excited to hear the if I was chosen to represent Crow Wing County in the Miss MN International Pageant!! It is kind of hard to wait but that is what makes it worth it if you are blessed with what you are waiting for. I am getting antsy because i really want to know if they picked me!! One of my friends told me that once she was selected in this same system to rep Crow Wing in the Teen Pageant. But now she is rockin the Miss City of Lakes Outstanding Teen Title!
