This Weekend...I REPEAT...This Weekend!!!

Hello all of my blog readers,

Wow ok so let me say the Miss Brainerd Lakes Pageant is THIS WEEKEND, October 18th!! I have so many emotions I just don't even know where to begin lol.

First off, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me and sending me well wishes! Every single one of you mean so much you don't even know! THANK YOU!!

So moving on, I have been practicing non-stop for the past about 5-6 months for this pageant (whoa) for talent, walk, & interview. Also preparing physically for fitness...I'm going to admit I have slipped a few times. But come on if you saw a McDonald's you would want fries too haha!

There isn't much to really report in this blog because not much has happened yet haha. I will do my best to update you on pageant day! But I do ask one thing of you if it's not too much! Please join me in prayer for interview & for the pageant. Thank you!

Starts: 4 PM (get there early for a good seat)
Where: Tornstrom Auditorium
Tickets are $15

4 titles will be given out and they are:
-Miss Brainerd Lakes 2014 (<----what I'm competing for)
-Miss Brainerd Lakes Outstanding Teen 2014
-Miss Central Lakes 2014
-Miss Central Lakes Outstanding Teen 2014

Before I sign off, I want to say another THANK YOU to two wonderful businesses who have helped in a BIG way! Without your help I wouldn't have been able to purchase my opening number dress & the shoes needed for my baton twirling routine! You are truly a blessing!

It has been two years since I have competed in the Miss America System! That was one of the best pageants I have yet to compete in! Now I get to make more memories & makes lasting friendships! Stay tuned for the results!

PAGEANT SCHEDULE!
Talent Practice: 11:15am
Private Interview: 12:45pm
Pageant Starts: 4pm

Will I start a new journey & be on my way to Miss Minnesota 2015 in the summer or still be trying to make my dream come true. God is already there and He has the plan! Trusting in Him all the way!

I truly think if you have dreams, please challenge yourself and not settle! I believe that is what I have been doing with pageants. No matter who or what brings me back in, at the end of another pageant I feel these same feelings. It's just not where God has me going in life. Let me paint you a picture of how it happened. It is the end of the pageant, it went by pretty quick and throughout the whole evening I felt off. I didn't feel as confident like I normally do with pageants. I tried my best as I possibly could. They handed out overall (throughout the 3 titles) individual awards. One miss contestant got two the other got one. There were three of us Miss Contestants. As we went up for the title I knew I wasn't gonna get it. The runner up was announced...not me. The title holder....not me. Shocker? No not at all! Miss MN International?!?!?!?!?!

Oh My Gosh!! Today I received an awesome letter. Now I have been trying to get a hold of this pageant for a little while now and finally I got an answer! I have been praying for something to happen in my pageant life and for my pageant dreams to come to pass! The time has come!! As I went and grabbed the mail I was looking through and I seen a crown on an envelope. It read Miss Minnesota International Pageant!!!!!!! I was so excited. I could not wait to open it and see what it had to say. So i opened it and it said on the back that it was the Official Bio-Entry Form Preliminary to the Miss Minnesota International Pageant!! I just about cried! I continued to open the letter and There was an attached form to represent my county in the state pageant! I got so excited that I filled it all out and mailed it with the required photo!!! I wanted to make sure I could be in good-standing to be chosen. I gotta feeling...

Hello there! Aw man I seriously have a feeling God is beautifully putting everything into place for a reason! As I am preparing for Miss Brainerd Lakes 2014, my talent is coming together naturally & amazing! Working on my interview questions...going great! Need to work on my walk though, a bit wobbly & stubbly!  I have plenty of time to work on those things. I also am working out, literally. Doing my best to tone up rather than lose weight. It is pretty tough when you have chocolate & potato chips taunting you. Haha!  My healthy eatting consists of: Breakfast- Cereal, coffee or water, & fruit Lunch- Salad with fruit & water Supper- Salmon, salad, & Milk Snack- Fruit or Protein Bar  My workout: 10 Sit-ups  10 Push-ups 30 Side to side Toe Touches 30 Seconds of Side Stretches 15 Minutes of Workout Bike 15 Minutes of Elliptical  (Might add more later) I will update you on my workout as time goes on!
