Crazy Thinking & Keeping Busy!

Hello everyone sorry I haven't updated in about 2 months! Since then I haven't had too many thoughts about the pageant and had other thoughts. I actually thought about moving and not just in another town...in ANOTHER STATE! TO CALIFORNIA! But since I seriously do not have the money to do this crazy adventure I'm here in MN!

There isn't much to update on since pageant ventures haven't started yet. But I will tell you a couple things!

1) I will be raising money for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) during the summer by holding a game during my hometown's music in the park & mountain bike festival. Sad things is I was asked to do the mountain bike festival. You may be thinking, "Wait isn't that a good thing?" Why yes it is but the Miss Minnesota Pageant is the same day... June 14. But I can't wait to raise money for CMN & teach everyone on the organization/my platform!

This is seriously too much fun haha! Who wouldn't want to play it :)


2) Also hopefully getting copies of my book to sell for Operation Smile, the organization tied to my platform Every Smile is Beautiful, and to make/sell those silicone bracelets with the embossed/printed message on them. While doing that, I would be raising awareness of my platform *which could be one of the things to help with my speaking :D*

I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone *there are too many people to name haha but you know who you are* who has helped me recently whether it was encouragement or coaching you mean a lot to me! I hope to do fantastic at Miss Brainerd Lakes and God's will to be done in the end.

I also want to take a moment to say BEST OF LUCK AND PRAYERS to my buddies Bailey, Lauren, Savannah, & Maren at Miss Minnesota week & the pageant! I will continuously be checking the miss mn twitter and facebook for the live pageant updates! Love ya girls

Last night I attended the send off party for my pageant gals & buds, Bailey Wachholz & Lauren Johnson. I am so excited for them for state pageant week and the pageant. The send off got my stoked for competing again! I haven't competed since March 8th this yr & I will be competing this October. Bless the gals hearts for the support and willing to help me out in prepping for the Miss BL pageant!

Finally, if you can please donate ANY amount to my Miss America CMN donation page would be amazing! Every local pageant contestant must raise $100 before she can compete in the pageant. Please and Thank You! God Bless.

This Saturday is the day!

Wow it is finally the week of the pageant! But it is not cool that I also have 2 tests this week. Ugh I'll manage, through God I will prosper! So I have been practicing mad hard and praying about it! I feel confident and comfortable! Not overly confident where I am thinking 'I got this in the bag' but ready to have fun and ready for what God has planned! I just am nervous that if I don't get anything that I will get sad and really upset! Hopefully I will be happy and have fun no matter what. If I were to capture the title, I would hope to impact others and prove that though I was born with a birth defect... God has a bright future for me and I am able to succeed just by competing! I would love to help out anywhere I could! And hope to be that role model for girls that I always had which was a confident girl who isn't perfect but isn't afraid to be themselves! As I'm Waiting...

I am not sure if you guys are excited to hear if I got this Miss Crow Wing County International 2014 title as much as me but I am going crazy lol!! It has been super hard to focus on school and other things!! I have been praying and praying that God will help those who select the girls to represent their county to see my heart like He does!! Right when that letter comes I will update and probably do a YouTube video lol! Usually when it comes to pageant stuff I get super excited and I can't focus on anything else. I have not a clue why but that is just what happens. There is a purpose that I have this passion. I would haven't thought that I would be a pageant girl but I am super proud to say I am!! Also, I do ask for prayers for the pageant I am now assisting and I have competed in, The Miss Crosby-Ironton Scholarship Pageant. Pageant Paths!

Some pretty cool things have happened recently. So I recently (finally) got an email back from the Miss Minnesota Collegiate Pageant about signing up and she said that they will keep me on the update list and such so thats sweet! Also tonight I noticed that one of my friends put on Facebook that they were thinking of doing the Miss Brainerd Lakes/Central Lakes Pageant and I was telling them to do it. I told them also that I would be willing to help her practice and prepare for the pageant. Then another friend of hers and mine  asked me if I could do the same for her. SO now I am coaching both of them! I am SO FREAKING HAPPY AND EXCITED! I feel that this is why God has me continuing in pageants, to help others and share the Good in pageants. That is my current situation in pageants and I love it. Sunday we are going to spend the day together by going to get their talent outfits and then starting practice. Shall be a good time!
