This Weekend...I REPEAT...This Weekend!!!

Hello all of my blog readers,

Wow ok so let me say the Miss Brainerd Lakes Pageant is THIS WEEKEND, October 18th!! I have so many emotions I just don't even know where to begin lol.

First off, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me and sending me well wishes! Every single one of you mean so much you don't even know! THANK YOU!!

So moving on, I have been practicing non-stop for the past about 5-6 months for this pageant (whoa) for talent, walk, & interview. Also preparing physically for fitness...I'm going to admit I have slipped a few times. But come on if you saw a McDonald's you would want fries too haha!

There isn't much to really report in this blog because not much has happened yet haha. I will do my best to update you on pageant day! But I do ask one thing of you if it's not too much! Please join me in prayer for interview & for the pageant. Thank you!

Date: Saturday October, 18
Starts: 4 PM (get there early for a good seat)
Where: Tornstrom Auditorium
Tickets are $15

4 titles will be given out and they are:
-Miss Brainerd Lakes 2014 (<----what I'm competing for)
-Miss Brainerd Lakes Outstanding Teen 2014
-Miss Central Lakes 2014
-Miss Central Lakes Outstanding Teen 2014

Before I sign off, I want to say another THANK YOU to two wonderful businesses who have helped in a BIG way! Without your help I wouldn't have been able to purchase my opening number dress & the shoes needed for my baton twirling routine! You are truly a blessing!

It has been two years since I have competed in the Miss America System! That was one of the best pageants I have yet to compete in! Now I get to make more memories & makes lasting friendships! Stay tuned for the results!

PAGEANT SCHEDULE!
Talent Practice: 11:15am
Private Interview: 12:45pm
Pageant Starts: 4pm

Will I start a new journey & be on my way to Miss Minnesota 2015 in the summer or still be trying to make my dream come true. God is already there and He has the plan! Trusting in Him all the way!

Making a difference in the pageant world!

Hey guys. So somethings have changed since I last spoke with you. In my job situation, I have changed my main job to working at a local retail store, KJ's MiniMart and I will be starting my own daycare for my niece, Gabby, and the new baby when he or she arrives. I can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew! :) Now pageant wise, I will be holding a pageant workshop THIS coming Sunday! I am so excited. I will be teaching some young ladies I know some tips and tricks I know about pageantry. Also at the end of the workshop, there will be a mock pageant! I will judge & audit. Also there are awards that will be given out such as, best interview, onstage question, evening gown & talent (or fitness wear). I am unsure if we will be doing talent or fitness wear depends what the talents are. If things are not available to do some talents then I might give an option of doing a talent or fitness wear or just do fitness wear. Either way they will be weighed the same. Pictures w...

Miss America 2013!

This is a quick post on Miss America! Warning: You should NEVER be by Tiffany Paul while watching Miss America! She is a bomb just waiting to go off! :) With Good Intentions! I was quite sad and upset that our lovely Miss Minnesota, Siri Freeh, didn't make it to any of the tops but she will always be my Miss America. We all love you, Siri! But I am so happy for the woman who was crowned Miss America 2013, Mallory Hytes Hagan. I love that she is a regular woman. She took the subway & worked as a waitress! It shows that anyone can achieve their dreams. God has a unique and special plan. Just trust and He will take you places you have yet to dream of. Joel Osteen anyone. :D This helps me especially. Since I have yet to receive that crown that is meant to be mine, this has inspired me to go whole hog to my dreams. Never give up. Through each experience, I get stronger and trust God even more. I know He has a great plan for me. Never question. Until then, I will be bloggin...

New Pageant...New Memories!

Ok so now I believe I have decided that I WILL NOT be competing in the Miss C-I Pageant again but I will be competing in another pageant!! I was debating about which I should compete in and I believe I found one that is PERFECT!! IT IS THE.......... MISS MINNESOTA COLLEGIATE PAGEANT 2014! Held on August 17, 2013! I am so excited. I haven't fully registered yet but I will trust me! This will be so awesome because they are based on a woman's potential not the outer beauty! The stages of competition are -Personal Interview -Evening Gown -Fun Fashion -On Stage Question There is no talent or swimsuit! Dang that makes me so happy!! I do like talent and swimsuit but it is nice that I won't feel the pressure of finding a talent or making sure I have that swimsuit bod. I feel I am meant to do something bigger!
