Rehearsal Rehearsal Rehearsal!!!!!

Oh my goodness! Practice has been going great! It has been a pleasure getting to know all the girls more and being able to bond better! I am so happy that I can have that girl time with these gals. Very nice! I have practiced my talent I front of my fellow contestants and it was really interesting. Not telling what my talent is...BUT I seriously was so close to tears! I want to try to hold in my tears while in practice but on pageant night I will let out the waterworks! :) I feel I am impacting lives and inspiring others to be themselves and not be afraid to express who you really are. Who you are is PERFECT! I am so excited for the Aitkin pageant and parade this weekend! It will be a blast! Good luck to all the contestants! Then on August 7th, we will be on Aitkin KKIN radio in the morning! Be sure to stay tuned to hear the Miss C-I contestants! Man it is really a trip. The pageant seems so close yet so far. Next weekend already we will be at our Royal Sleepover! And then it will b

The Pageant is Coming!

Wow guys the 2012 Miss Crosby-Ironton Pageant is coming soon! 3 weeks until the day comes where how I spend my next year will be decided. HAHA wow pressure...nah. :P So practices start this Sunday for the pageant and I am so excited! Though it kind of seems like deja vu. When I did the pageant last year I was late to a few practices and I remember when I showed up to the first one late, because I had to work, and they informed me that I was the first one for EVERYTHING in the pageant. Such as introduction, talent, interview, and evening gown. Ahhhh! It was nice to be first though because I was able to get dressed on time and stay on track! Now this year I feel I will be able to have more fun with it and create memories. Last year I didn't focus on creating memories so I was just focused on getting a title. This year I am calmer and I am not SO focused on getting a title as I was last year. I made a video of my past experiences of this pageant and my current memories on my pag

Raising Funds for New Smiles!

Hello guys! So I have noticed that I am getting so addicted to blogging...HAHA can't help it is so much fun to blog about how much fun I am having recently that is pageant related! So I wanted to make a blog about my fundraiser for my platform...Operation Smile! I have known of this organization since I was little and with having this birth defect of a bilateral cleft lip and palate, I was personally connected with this. When my father would tell me to turn it to a channel the commercial was on for Operation Smile, I felt so bad for those kids who couldn't have the access like I had to doctors and surgeries. I wanted to make a change. I thought it would be cool to donate to my platform before the pageant to show how much I really do care and want to make a difference. But my boss suggested to do a fundraiser through the month of August for Operation Smile. So I did and I started actually in Mid-July and I already have more then my goal is! My goal was $240 which is enough

Send-Off PARTY! :)

Alright I had to blog about this fun event I went to a send-off party tonight for the lovely Miss Bailey Wachholz! I know you shall represent Minnesota well in the Miss America Outstanding Teen pageant! I felt so blessed to be able to go and give my well wishes. But I did go by myself and as I was entering in the auditorium I sat and was looking around eating, ( yes I was eating in the auditorium shh... :) ), I was minding my own and then I was approached by the very kind, Rebecca Yeh, asking if I was by myself or meeting someone. I said I was alone then she asked if I wanted to sit with her and her friends, and one might I add was Paige Meyer, Miss Perham. That was so nice, They are such kind and beautiful gals! Then as the program was going on i was noticing how beautiful Bailey and her outfits were. I know she will do great at the MAOT pageant! I couldn't help but go shopping after and get myself a very sparkly and white cocktail dress at Kohl's! I'm a girl deal wit

My Pageant Experiences!

Well it all started in 2010, when at the last minute I was the backstage hand for the Miss Crosby-Ironton Pageant. It was the first time it was brought back from 15 years ago. So there was some rough parts but I was back there telling the Emcees when it was safe to continue so no one missed a beat. After that I became a contestant in the 2011 Miss CI Pageant. It was such a fun time that truly treasure the memories that have been created with everyone. For my talent that year, I did a comedy routine that I made my own spin on, from an iJustine video from YouTube. It was about a mishap at a coffee shop though mine didn't happen to me it really did to iJ. OH I love it. But when it came down to crowning I didn't want to feel any crown land on my head BUT ONLY the Miss CI crown. Sadly I didn't earn a crown. It just wasn't my year and I feel that I put the pageant before God and I really shouldn't have done that.  Now in 2012, I am competing once more to see if I

A pageant life is a wonderful life!

Hello may I start out by saying my name is Tiffany and I am a high school graduate going to college to major in Young Education. I have competed in one pageant in my life and I plan on continuing on the pageant road. I have competed in a local scholarship pageant and I am in the same pageant again this year. I thought I would share the memories that have been created this year. The pageant is on August 16, 2012...Which means I am SO CLOSE to the pageant. I feel God has something special for me this year either it being getting a title or inspiring others to embrace who they are. I am happy. So please take a walk with me as I share my journey to the crown. Hopefully this year we shall EARN it and make a change in the community. May God be my guide and I shall be leaded to what victories He has for me. Sincerely, Tiffany A Pageant Queen in waiting :)                                       Me last year in the 2011 Miss Crosby-Ironton Scholarship Pageant
